Dubai-based premium baked snacks company brings a plethora of treats to International Student Identity Card events at Heriot-Watt University, University of Sharjah, American University in Dubai and many other esteemed schools as part of “Share a Cookie, Spread the Love” Campaign.
Dubai, UAE – October 11, 2018 – Dofreeze, established as one of the leading Dubai-based global players in the bakery industry with state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities and production lines that yield premium-quality products, participated in the Fall 2018 ISIC (International Student Identity Card) Tour by way of offering product sampling across a multitude of college campuses throughout the UAE. The efforts were part of Dofreeze’s “Share a Cookie, Spread the Love” campaign, in which representatives of the ISIC Tour have been visiting schools, universities and other facilities to get the word out about these delicious treats.
These schools included Heriot-Watt University, Dubai Campus; University of Sharjah; American University in Dubai, Gulf Medical University, Ajman; Amity University; Emirates Aviation University; University of Wollongong, Dubai; American University of Sharjah; Canadian University, Dubai; Rochester Institute of Technology; Ajman University and City University College, Ajman.
The ISIC Association is the non-profit organization behind the International Student Identity Card program, with the ISIC card remaining the only internationally-accepted proof of bona fide student status. First established in 1953, the ISIC card is now issued to students in over 130 countries, with all bona fide students over the age of 12 – irrespective of their nationality, race, gender or religion – able to purchase an ISIC card at an affordable price. Through one single card, ISIC students gain preferential and discounted access to products, services, and experiences relevant to all aspects of student life, from software licenses and cinema access to bookstores, public transport, cafes and eateries.
Further, the ISIC Tour Roadshow, a series of events that take place at the beginning of the first and second academic semester on the campuses of select academic institutions in the UAE, represents a unique opportunity to present products and services directly to the student population from September to December 2018. It is within this capacity that Dofreeze representatives have chosen to spread the word about their much-revered baked goods, given the possibility to directly reach students on a one-on-one basis on these campuses.
According to ISIC reps, the total number of approachable students topped out at 30,000, complemented by the opportunity to give out some 3,000 sample goodie bags, with extremely positive feedback from students who sampled the Eurocake American-Style Soft and Chewy Cookies, their favorite being the Coconut flavor variety.
“With students being the primary target audience during the ISIC Tour, this was the perfect opportunity for us to showcase our line of delightful snacks through sample offerings,” says Aamer Fayyaz, CEO of Dofreeze LLC. “We produce premium-quality, long shelf-life, packaged and branded cakes, croissants, swiss rolls, brownies, cookies and a comprehensive range of snacks, all under the Eurocake, Snack Time and private label brands for customers in 50 countries across four continents.
“To say we were thrilled to be able to share these statistics with students of esteemed schools throughout the UAE is something of an understatement…and this is just the beginning, as we plan on visiting all higher education facilities across the Emirates.”
